One trick I am learning is that when I have an inspired period and do many posts, I put some on the side for the rainy days when the brain is not functioning.

And on the spelling front, do a google search for iespell . Great program for saving your proverbial and free to boot.

TomAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13164186.post-1137911723708088472006-01-22T01:35:00.000-05:002006-01-22T01:35:00.000-05:00Give me a break, RC. If a computer can check your spelling against a commonly accepted list of standard spellings of commonly used words, not using that tool is just pig-headed. So many posts are barely readable due to line breaks, or syntax, or tenuous grasp of the prevalent language, or logic, that speling, checkable by machine, should be the least of our worries. If you don't get that joke, don't ask me to explain. What's your standard? You'll read anything? Who are you defending? People who can't click "check spelling"? Sorry for the rant, but really... "Worlview"? I speak a few languages, and I welcome corrections.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16091245320965011291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13164186.post-1137889816846708502006-01-21T19:30:00.000-05:002006-01-21T19:30:00.000-05:00Fine except for:"Always use spell checker"It takes...Fine except for:

"Always use spell checker"

It takes a mighty narrow worlview to only be able to think of one way to spell a word. Points off for spelling? Heck, anybody who can communicate and whose time is so valuable that they are worth reading at all is worth more if they eschew convention.Rob Dawghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10042154106850545479noreply@blogger.com
