Bush Chooses Bernanke as Greenspan successor
Bernanke was named as the Greenspan successor to the Chairman of the Federal Reserve. Greenspan will retire on January 31, 2006 . For more information on Ben Bernanke check out Wikipedia. What will this mean for the housing bubble?
I smirked when I heard that Bush chose Bernanke. On one hand, I felt bad for our children and future deficits. On the other, my real estate interests will probably do better in the short run so I can dump them sometime. Behind every cloud, a silver lining (for a bit).
