Too many Anonymouses

I have changed the blog's settings so only registered users can comment. You can create a Google/Blogger account here. Readers who have an AOL, TypePad, WordPress, or LiveJournal account can use that existing account by selecting "OpenID" when posting their comment.

  1. Suits me just fine. In some posts there are numerous comments, and it is hard to tell who is really saying what.

I wouldn't mind if people simply used a consistent handle each time they posted a comment. Unfortunately, Blogger's settings don't allow me to enforce that. I either have to require people to log in, or allow them to use "Anonymous" as their user name. When everyone is going by the name "Anonymous", the only way to distinguish who is who is by their writing style.

  5. Thanks, It was getting old having to respond to "Anonymous" when there were 10 of them per post.

If you are going to put your 2 cents in, might as well get credit for your profound statement (or mouth full of poop).
