Realtors Worried About Lawsuits

    E&O has been around for a long time...

  2. Agents (should) always carry E&O insurance. This is insurance against errors and omissions. It is not insurance against representing the buyer of a home for $500k that a few years later is worth only $300k. Realtors don't carry insurance for this situation because they have no liability in this situation. Real estate agents can't be sued successfully simply because their client loses a whole lot of money. It is the buyer's tough luck.
