Will Countrywide Toxic Mortgage's Angelo Mozilo go to jail? (Housing Panic)

Dr. Housing Bubble has an Excellent Blog. He also has a new website located at www.doctorhousingbubble.com/. His Real Homes of Genius series is superb and funny. :-)

Mortgage Implode-o-Meter is at 161. Really, there is absolutely nothing to see here. [Sarcasm off]

NAR on "Temporary" Housing Problems (Big Picture)

  1. I wonder who gives worse real estate advice, the spammer, or Lance.

On the one hand the spammer is trying to attract investors to buy condos in Costa Rica.

On the other hand, Lance claimed it was a good time to buy all through 2006 and even said there would be bidding wars by May 2007.

  2. Paper Money made a good point which I have noticed as well. The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) has been honest in their outlook for the housing market. They may not have always been correct, but they have done their best to be open and honest. The National Association of Realtors (NAR), on the other hand, has been blatantly dishonest.

This should not be taken to mean that all individual home builders are honest or that all individual Realtors are dishonest. My comment is about the leaderships of these organizations.

  4. I just thought you guys would like to know that Lance's neighbor recently cut his asking price.

Probably accounts for lance's recent... scarcity.

So much for "average rowhouses in the district going from 1 million to $2 million over the last twelve months." (another of lance's infamous quotes from a few months ago)
