ReplyDeleteBUYER: "Is there any chance the street will become a thoroughfare? I noticed signs in the front of some yards protesting that possibility."
AGENT: "The City Council would surely stop that. The councilman in this district is too powerful to let that happen. There's a better chance of winning the lottery than of that happening. Those people out there are fearmongers."
True Story
Talk of turning that street into a thoroughfare continues at the Cal Trans.
I wonder if damage control is in full swing at NAR? I think this is a possibility because of rumors of a federal investigation into NAR's practices and control of the market. Just rumors--take it as such.
