Quote of The Day

"That the free-enterprise economy is given to recurrent episodes of speculation will be agreed. There-great events and small, involving, bank notes, securities, real estate, art, and other assets or objects-are,over the years and centuries, part of history. " - John Kenneth Galbraith

  1. The Free enterprise system if not regulated (which is what we have now) will always become plagued with excesses that will casue massive economic dislocation. It has happened before in periods of no regulation in the USA- throughout the 19th century, the 1920's and the last 20 years. Corrections, cleanse the system and make it honest again, like during the Progressive era and the New Deal.
